to promote greater flexibility and
strength, improving posture and
relieving stress.
Special attention to building core (abdominal) strength
(lots of abs upon request). Rhonda
has a real gift of offering options to each pose for
students to enjoy the challenged and feel successful,
allowing every student to benefit from each pose in each
class, at any level. Yoga
Slow Flow~ Especially
good for newcomers or those who would like to master the more advanced
poses at a slower pace. All levels can benefit from a refresher on the basic balance
between effort, ease and surrender. This class will
move slower yet stronger to build a strong foundations to further in the
practice.
Emphasizing
alignment
principles
of the
basic postures while exploring
the
variations and modifications of the more challenging ones (learning to
listen to the body). Special
attention given to stretch deeper by holding
lengthening poses longer
for better flexibility and more range of motion in flows. Centering
on the mind/body connection with breathing
(pranayama)
techniques, stress release and relaxation skills.

energizing yet easy to follow
Vinyasa style yoga class that
"flow's" yoga poses linked one into another guided
by the breath.
Sequences of Sun~ Salutations,
balance, standing, seated
and core
strengthening
postures
are
designed to sculpt the body, improve flexibility, increase coordination
and muscle tone while making your spirit happy. Holding
some poses longer to deepen awareness of alignment in more advanced
variations, better flexibility added by the breath in lengthen poses and
introducing arm balances. Moving meditation in action,
fully enjoying the moment with the ocean horizon as a focus point. Level
1-3
Fluid
Flow Yoga~
A Creative
Vinyasa (Flow) style yoga class
set to fun upbeat music. Fluid
sequences flow yoga poses one into another on a current of synchronized breath.
Added fluidity, repetitious movements in the
transitions from poses that
naturally increase full body strength, stamina, and
flexibility while calming and steadying the mind. True moving meditation in fluid flowing action
fully present in the moment.

Yoga
Light~
(back
in Fall) Shining
the "light" on the basics of "Power" allowing the true
benefits out of the "Practice" to "Shine" through.
Power Yoga Light an invigorating style of yoga ... Still
challenging the more seasoned students (arm balances are catching ON!)
while presenting modifications to the newer students to ease into the
Flow. Level 1-3 Power
Variations in poses for both beginners and advanced students
makes this a great class to try Power Yoga
Core Power
Yoga~
Vinyasa (Fluid
Flow) style Yoga in harmony with Pilates. Offering a creative blend
yoga flowing sequences to build strength and endurance, combined
with the Pilatés Method of Core (The
"Core"- the body’s core postural muscles
or the stabilizers of the body: the abdominals, hips, lower
back and thighs)
conditioning to sculpt and tone the mid-section. Promoting strong
posture, longer leaner muscles, more freedom of movement for injury while improving
flexibility with deep freeing hip and shoulder opening
postures to counteract the ill effects of tension in the
body. Rhonda guides all levels in harmony. Level 1-3 Power
Hour
of Power Yoga~
Will be the most "powerful" Vinyasa
Ashtanga based class offered. Moving through "Vinyasa's" continuous
yoga
poses flowing
one
into another on a current of synchronized breath
with fun challenging transitions and balance poses. Less
direction will be given to better set a fluid pace, yet modifications will
still be offered. This allows students to grow deeper in "their
practice". All levels are welcome, just able to go at their own
pace... remembering every
pose is not for everybody.
