~Class times change seasonally.  Labor Day the classes will move back to 9:15am for the Fall.  In the Winter months weekday classes move to 10:15am and the Saturday Class moves back indoors to Village during the Winter months.

~What to expect~

Designed to inspire beginners, modifications are taught so seasoned practitioners and newer students alike can enjoy learning the importance of staying in the moment and exploring yoga from the inside out.

The level and sequence of the postures are in accordance with the energy of the class.

Vinyasa Yoga Flow~ A creative energizing Vinyasa flow of  Sun~ Salutations, balance, standing, seated and core strengthening postures. Designed to sculpt your body, improve flexibility, increase coordination and muscle tone while making your spirit happy. Moving meditation in action, fully enjoying the moment with the ocean horizon as a focus point.

Fluid Flow~ A Vinyasa Flow class that adds fluidity in the transitions from poses (repetitious movements to build strength and endurance to flow with confidence and grace).

Slow Flow~  Especially good for newcomers to yoga, or those who would like a refresher on the basic balance between effort, ease and surrender. This class will move slower yet stronger to build a strong foundations to further in the practice. Centering on the mind/body connection, emphasizing alignment principles while exploring basic postures and introducing more advanced poses, breathing (pranayama) techniques, and relaxation skills. Combinations of the shoulders, back, chest, hips and hamstrings will be covered in each class to promote greater flexibility and strength, improving posture and relieving stress.

Power Yoga Light Flow (light level for summer)~ Shining the "light" on the basics of "Power" allowing the true benefits out of the "Practice" to "Shine" through.  Power Yoga Light welcomes visitors and new comers to this invigorating style of yoga for the summer season... Still challenging the more seasoned student while presenting modifications to the newer students to ease into the Flow.

Vinyasa~ All classes are Vinyasa style. The basic principle of Vinyasa Flow Yoga is for each pose to be gracefully linked by the breath in an evolutionary flow that empowers each student to explore the full range of their potential wherever they find themselves. Encouraging attention and awareness to the breath and alignment of the spine for empowered form,  grace and stability. Remembering its not about how far you go into a pose, its about being where you are at the present moment as fully as possible. Allowing us to step out of our heads and get grounded in peace with the rhythmic sound of the waves. Set in the ideal atmosphere to find a deep sense of well-being and inner strength.

You will leave renewed and ready for the day.

~What you need~

An open mind, free of judgment and a sense of humor  (don't take yourself so serious).

Comfortable warm weather clothes (remember we will be moving in all the ways the body was designed to move) so careful in lose shorts or shirts...

No shoes needed, we practice barefoot in the park.
Sunglasses, a Towel and Sunscreen when out in the sun.

Rainy days may be moved to the West Pavilion on days the Jr Lifeguard can not be on the beach due to lightning.

Spring/ Fall/Winter Cooler days  we will be on the Beach  of pure crystal white sand warming in the Sun or on the board walk blocked for the north wind in Winter.
