~Christian Flow~

Let everything that has breath praise you.
Psalm 150:6

Be still and know that I am God.

Psalms 46:10

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? ... Therefore glorify God in your body.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

~Christian Flow~ A unique experience, a gentle introduction to yoga based techniques , centered on our Lord and Savior. All traditions are omitted that are not inline with scripture... keeping the focus on Christ while reaping all the health benefits of the poses. Class is set to uplifting Christian music designed to improve flexibility, strengthen the body and Holy Spiritual connection while relieving tension in the body to center the mind on the fruits of the Spirit. Flowing asanas harmoniously link with pray and scripture, allowing us to achieve a sense of stillness and peace in the mind. Prayer becomes easier and worries seen less urgent making us more receptive to Gods Presence.

~Flow (yoga) and Christianity ~

There is still a great fear of yoga from part of the Christian community. Yoga in its physical form is not a religion. The roots of  yoga can be found in the Hindu religion however only specific styles of yoga still have the Hindu traditions in the classes.  "Flow" is another word that can be used for yoga without any of the preconceived notions of "yoga". Flow describes the transitions between the yoga based poses...one linking to the other guided by the breath. The goal of "FLOW" is to center, to ground and to sensitize us, to make us present thus can allow us to become in-tune with His Presence.  In most yoga classes held here in the western part of the world, the spiritual connection is encouraged to be personal. As a Christian, Flow can bring us to a point of oneness and surrender to our God the Father so He can do the work of healing and “oneing” in us. I am a born again Christian and have now been practicing yoga (Flow) for over half my life. I find my personal practice my foundation in strengthening my personal relationship with God, giving all thanks and praise to Him for the peace I live.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!
